Warranty Period

Gold jewelry offered by Serafino is covered by a 2-year warranty for any lack of conformity existing at the time of purchase, under normal conditions of use.

The authenticity and characteristics of the precious metal — 14K gold (585‰) or 18K gold (750‰) — as well as of the precious stones set in the jewelry, are guaranteed for an unlimited period, in accordance with applicable legal provisions.

Exchange Policy

Customers may exchange a product once, within 30 calendar days from the date of purchase, upon presentation of the fiscal receipt or invoice (including for online orders).

An exchange is accepted only if the product:

  has not been worn;

• 
  shows no signs of wear, damage, or improper handling;

• 
  is returned in perfect condition.
  

Consumer Rights

Consumer rights are ensured in accordance with Government Emergency Ordinance no. 140/2021, implementing European consumer protection regulations.

The warranty conditions provided by Serafino do not limit or affect the statutory rights of consumers.

Hallmarking of Jewellery

All Serafino jewelry is hallmarked in compliance with applicable Romanian legislation, under the supervision and control of the National Authority for Consumer Protection – Precious Metals Directorate.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  failure to follow the care and usage instructions outlined in the Warranty Certificate;

• 
  accidents, impact, or unauthorized interventions;

• 
  negligence, improper use, or exposure to factors unrelated to material or craftsmanship defects;
  

Service & maintenance

We offer professional cleaning, polishing, stone setting checks, resizing, and repair services, all carried out with careful respect for the original design of each piece.

To preserve the beauty and integrity of your jewelry over time, we recommend regular inspections and professional maintenance.

Care recommendations

For optimal longevity:

  avoid contact with chemicals, perfumes, and cosmetics;

  remove jewelry during physical activity or sleep;

• 
  store each piece separately in a dry environment;
