Ring size guide
At Serafino, the size of a ring or wedding band is the European size: the inner circumference of the ring, in millimetres (ISO 8653). For example, size 54 means an inner circumference of 54 mm.

The US and UK equivalents are a guide: they can differ by a quarter size (US) or half a letter (UK) from one jeweller to another. For your order, the European size is the one that counts.
How to measure at home
With a piece of string or a strip of paper
- Wrap the string or the strip of paper around the base of your finger, without pulling it tight.
- Mark with a pen the point where the ends meet.
- Lay it flat on a ruler and measure the length up to the mark, in millimetres. That number is your European size (for example, 54 mm = size 54).
With a ring you already have
- Choose a ring that fits well on the finger you are ordering for.
- With a ruler, measure the inner diameter, from one inside edge to the other, in millimetres.
- Find that value in the “Inner diameter” column of the chart: the size on the same row is your size.
A few tips
- Measure in the evening, with warm hands: in the morning and in the cold, fingers are slimmer.
- Measure 2–3 times, to be sure of the result.
- The band also has to pass over your knuckle: if your knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, take it into account.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one.
- Wide wedding bands (over 5 mm) may need half a size more. We recommend asking us before you order.
